Collecting and analyzing large volumes of text and multimedia files from both traditional and social media is one of Paloservices’ core activities. Our technology combines extraction, analysis, data visualization and natural language processing techniques.

Paloservices’ main activity is the effective utilization of Big Data through the organization, analysis and structured presentation of information from the Greek media, which includes news agencies, individual bloggers and journalists as well as social networking applications and forums.

In this context, we created the “astroturfing” tool that aims to detect organized acts of misinformation through the modeling of the spread of false news on social media.
